How To Play
- Gather Your Court (3+ players)
- Choose a High Lord/Lady: They draw the first card and read it aloud.
- Vote for Destiny: On three, point to who fits the prompt best.
- Make Your Defence: Those voted for have 1 minute to plead their case.
- High Lord’s Decree: The High Lord/Lady awards the card to the player they think deserves it.
- Pass the Crown: Turn passes clockwise. Draw a new card and repeat.
- First to 10 cards loses!

The Inner Circle Podcast
We met in 2010 as two extravagant 10 year olds. We instantly clicked over our shared obsession with fantasy worlds, lunchtime roleplays where we were the main characters… and yes, we even made a 40-minute fantasy film. No, you can’t watch it.
Fast forward to 2024: Georgie picked up A Court of Thorns and Roses for a Europe trip and immediately spiraled. Naturally, she dragged Adalia in too. One book became 16. Then suddenly, we were deep in the Romantasy rabbit hole.
Our daily convos turned into 3-hour deep dives, endless theories, and a shared realisation: surely we’re not the only ones feral over bat boys and worlds that don’t exist? So, we hit record.
Now? We co-host a podcast, drop episodes every Sunday, and run a bookish merch store that celebrates Romantasy, girlhood, and unhinged fandom energy. Welcome to your new favourite corner of the bookish internet.
